Bike season is just around the corner – if you’re a chick who rides and is itching to get back on the trails, consider this last minute getaway to Cleveland: Ray’s Women’s Weekend from Feb 15-17. It’s a bike clinic tailored for female riders where they kick the guys out and teach you wicked skills that you can bring to the mountain in a way that only we can appreciate. This year will mark the 7th year that Ray is holding the wildly successful event at his indoor mountain bike park in Cleveland. Created for riders of all skills or ages, don’t worry about the type of bike you ride or the number of times you’ve celebrated your birthday.
Hosted by world downhill champion, Leigh Donovan, the weekend is jam-packed with fun and instruction from a superstar group of female cycling and nutrition experts around the US. The event starts on Friday, when the park is ladies only from 9-4 pm. The park then opens to the public for the rest of the night until the legendary Friday night dress up party. The fun carries into Saturday and Sunday where the park is half price for all female riders. Did I mention that the event was completely free on Friday?!
If a one-day notice is not enough for you to head out to Ray’s, he’s also holding a second clinic from Mar 15-17 at his newer Milwaulkee indoor park location.
